Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting on Thursday in the grounds of Kothi Meena market in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. PM expressed concern over low turnout in the two-phase elections. Said that your vote will go not only to SP Singh Baghel and Rajkumar Chahar but also to Modi. Therefore, despite the scorching heat and leaving their important work, they definitely came to vote on 7th May.
The Prime Minister said that for some people it may be a wedding and for others it may be a personal function. I work hard day and night. I am asking for your time to vote. He got the public to agree by raising their hands. He said, go from door to door, tell people that Modi had come to Agra. Say my Radhe-Radhe to them and tell them that you have asked them to vote.

In the rally, BJP had arranged food packets for the people who came from Fatehpur Sikri and surrounding villages. The potato curry kept in packets got spoiled due to exposure to heat for several hours. When people were given food packets while returning, they threw the food packets on the ground itself.

During checking at the rally site, policemen also checked the bags of women. Some women refused to go inside. Water bottles were thrown outside. There was no arrangement for water at the rally venue. People were troubled in the scorching heat. Later, arrangements for water were made by the party, but it was insufficient. During this time the children kept yearning for water.
Atal’s name did not come on anyone’s lips
The name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee did not come on anyone’s lips in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting. Nor was his birth place Bateshwar mentioned. There was not even a picture of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the main stage, pandal or anywhere around the public meeting venue. Whereas he was born in Agra itself. He played an important role in taking BJP forward. This saddened the old people associated with the party.
